This Brazilian flag was signed by Ayrton Senna in 1987, during the Formula 1 Brazilian Grand Prix weekend, held at the Jacarepaguá Racetrack, in Rio de Janeiro. At that time, Senna was racing for the Lotus team and was already standing out as one of the main names in the category.

The signature was obtained by Murillo Santos, then a Brigadier of the Brazilian Air Force, who had access to the event's pits and paddock. On Saturday's qualifying practice, he met Ayrton Senna, spoke briefly with the driver, and asked him to sign the flag, which was done at that moment.

After the event, the flag remained with Murillo Santos's family for decades. His grandson, Carlos Eduardo, confirmed the item's origin and recounted the context in which the meeting occurred, as well as his grandfather's career in the Air Force. Subsequently, the flag was donated to a project organized by Raphael Cardoso, with the aim of raising funds to purchase sports equipment for children in the Rocinha community, in Rio de Janeiro.

According to family information, the flag itself had been acquired earlier in a military context, a common practice when official flags are replaced in ceremonies.

An essential item for any great collector and admirer of Ayrton Senna. Memorabilia signed with such clear provenance are rare.

The flag will be delivered unframed to facilitate transport.
