Charles Duke, the youngest of the men who walked on the moon, speaks of God to a friend whose mother is very sick.

Brian, the Bible says to lay hands on the sick and they will recover (Mark 16). Just pray from the bottom of your heart for your mother. There are no special rules for praying. Charlie.

Charles Duke (born 1935) is one of twelve, and the youngest, of the men to land on the moon with Apollo 16. It was the tenth manned mission to the moon, the fifth to land on the moon, and the first to land on mountains. It was launched on the 16/04/1972. Brought back to land 94.7 kg of rocks.

In this note, exceptional for its spirituality, Charles Duke tries to console a friend, whose mother - very sick - is living the last moments of her life. These lines, quoting the Bible, were written by the youngest astronaut to walk on the moon (in 1972). A proof that science and religion, faith, are not opposed.
