Documents related to the Brazilian Empire may, under certain conditions, be acquired with resources encouraged through the Rouanet Law.

The Rouanet Law makes it possible to acquire, preserve, study and disseminate exceptional documentary collections with the support of privately funded resources. Companies and individuals can finance these actions and deduct up to 100% of the amount invested from their income tax due — a legal, transparent and strategic way to support culture. Glórias coordinates all stages of the project — from curation to formalization with the Ministry of Culture — and, at the end, the acquired documents are officially donated by the sponsor to the beneficiary public institution, such as a museum, where they become part of its permanent collection, ensuring preservation, public access and institutional recognition for the donor.
