Hergé, the creator of "Tintin" honors fans to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the comic book.
Letter typed and signed by Hergé in response to Tintin fans who wrote to Studio Hergé on the 50th anniversary of the famous comic strip. In addition to the Studio Hergé logo, a text in French, Hergé's signature, the document comes with a printed colored drawing, representing the main characters. In French. One page. 21cm x 27.1cm. Brussels, 1979. Excellent condition. Single piece.
The "birth" of Tintin was celebrated in various ways around the world, for example: the American Andy Warhol - the creator of Pop Art - created a series of four portraits of Hergé; stamps dedicated to Tintin were issued; an exhibition and a book were launched.
In 2011, he starred in the movie "The Adventures of Tintin, the Secret of the Unicorn" produced by Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson. One of the biggest worldwide box office hits of the year.
The document is interesting for the logo and the text typed by Hergé (1907 - 1983), thanking his fan. It is also beautiful for its design, showing the main characters of Tintin, celebrating this 50th anniversary (1929 - 1979) with champagne.
