This is a short telegram from the city of Santos, announcing the death of Brazilian aviator and inventor Alberto Santos Dumont in Guarujá. Days later, his body was transported to São Paulo, to his brother-in-law's house, at Avenida Paulista, 105.

This text testifies to the tragic event of the death of Alberto Santos Dumont, whose event had international repercussions. Never before has this type of thank you letter, sent to illustrious recipients, been offered to collectors.
