The Eiffel Tower, located in Paris, is the symbol of France and the most visited paid monument in the world. It was designed by Gustave Eiffel to be the entrance to the 1889 Universal Exhibition.

Albumen prints allowed for greater contrast and more detailed images than salted paper (the previous photographic process). It was the most common process in the world until 1880, gradually decreasing until 1895.

Here we have one of the first photographs of the most symbolic monument in the French capital.
