Unique piece.
By 1978, Arnold Schwarzenegger was already an established bodybuilder and was transitioning into a film career. That year, he starred in the film The Villain, a Western comedy released on July 27, 1979. He also continued to promote bodybuilding and the Mr. Olympia, a competition he had won six times by then (he would win his seventh title in 1980). He was also a student at the University of Wisconsin–Superior, where he graduated with a degree in business and economics in 1979.
Arnold Schwarzenegger's career is extraordinary because he achieved absolute success in three completely different areas: first as a bodybuilder, becoming Mr. Olympia seven times and popularizing the sport globally; then as an actor, becoming one of Hollywood's biggest action stars with iconic films such as The Terminator and Predator; and finally in politics, when he was elected governor of California for two terms (2003-2011), a rare case of a celebrity achieving such a high-profile position. His trajectory is marked by determination, reinvention and an unwavering mindset of overcoming adversity, making him a unique figure in modern history.
Arnold's autographs from the beginning of his career are the most sought after, especially in photographs, especially when they feature such a beautiful signature. The dedication is to Medehl – perhaps a fellow Austrian? This iconic photograph shows the actor in top form, all muscular and completely naked… forgive me, puritanical souls! A magnificent piece, in perfect condition, ideal for collectors who admire Arnold or for those, men or women, who appreciate an impeccably aesthetic body.
