To my dear sister Ms. Ailza Seixas, With my fraternal embrace, Chico Xavier Pedro Leopoldo, 4-7-58
In 1958, Chico Xavier was already a central figure in Spiritism in Brazil, working intensely as a medium and psychographer in the city of Pedro Leopoldo, Minas Gerais. At that time, he worked at the Luiz Gonzaga Spiritist Center, where he received spiritual messages that he transcribed into books, many attributed to the spirit Emmanuel. His work gained increasing recognition, and he had already published several works that disseminated the principles of Spiritism, always with a humble attitude, dedicated to charity and the spiritual comfort of people.
Items signed by Chico Xavier are highly valued by collectors and scholars. This dedication was written on July 4, 1958, a period when Chico still lived in Pedro Leopoldo, the city where his mediumship flourished and where he psychographed some of his most important works.
