In 1969, Jimi Hendrix left a "Love forever" note and his signature on a postcard from the Park Royal Hotel in London for Virgínia, a Brazilian chambermaid at the hotel.

This original postcard from the Park Royal Hotel, located at 147 Cromwell Road, London, shows the building's facade on the front. On the back, Jimi Hendrix wrote "Love forever" in blue ink, accompanied by a small heart and his signature. According to the owner, the guitarist stayed at the hotel for two or three days in 1969, accompanied by an unidentified blonde woman, and upon departing, he dedicated the card to Virgínia, a Brazilian woman who worked there as a chambermaid.

Back in Brazil, following Hendrix's death in September 1970, Virgínia gifted the card to the current owner, a musician and rock enthusiast whom she knew through a mutual friend, Mosquito, a basketball player for Botafogo.

Shortly thereafter, in July 1973, the owner became known for surviving the Varig Flight 820 crash between Rio de Janeiro, Paris, and London, of which he was the only surviving passenger. Since then, he has kept the card in Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte, never offering it for sale.

Jimi Hendrix is considered by many to be the greatest guitarist in the history of rock. In just four years of his career, between 1966 and 1970, he revolutionized the instrument, left an indelible mark on the Woodstock festival in August 1969, and died in London at the age of 27. This meteoric trajectory makes his autographs rare pieces and among the most forged in the music market.

This card brings together several exceptional elements: it was signed in 1969, at the height of his fame, in London, the city that launched his career, just a few months before his death, with an affectionate dedication and a drawing that reveal a spontaneous and personal gesture. Its direct provenance and its stay in the same family for over fifty years, without ever having passed through the market, further reinforce its appeal. Finally, the unique story of its owner, a survivor of one of the most significant plane crashes in Brazilian aviation history, adds a rare human dimension to the piece.

Authenticity was assessed by expert Mathias Meyer, a member of the ILAB, at the maximum level G5 on the Glórias Scale, "Exceptionally supported authenticity."

How is delivery made? What will I receive?

Delivery time varies from approximately 1 to 10 business days, depending on the recipient's location. In Brazil, we primarily use SEDEX, and for international shipments, FedEx. The document is placed in an elegant laid paper folder and sent in completely discreet packaging. The digital certificate of authenticity and guarantee is sent via email in PDF format for security reasons. Shipping is free throughout Brazil. For international shipments, the shipping cost is a fixed R$ 500.00. For some exceptionally valuable or specially sized pieces, delivery may be carried out personally by Mathias Meyer, in Brazil or abroad.

Can I return my purchase?

Yes. For online purchases, the Consumer Protection Code guarantees the right of withdrawal within 7 days of receiving the item. If you are not satisfied, simply contact us and we will respond promptly to find the best solution, which may include a full refund after the return and verification of the item.

What warranties come with the items?

All items sold by Glórias have a lifetime guarantee against any potential certification errors, provided that such an error is subsequently demonstrated and confirmed by Mathias Meyer. In this scenario, the buyer will be fully reimbursed. To date, this situation has never occurred. The guarantee does not cover natural changes or damage caused by improper storage, exposure to light, humidity, insects, or any other external factor that may compromise the conservation of the item or the ink.

Can I resell this piece in the future?

Ideally, store it in a dry, dark, and clean place, protected from humidity, extreme temperatures, dust, and insects, ensuring its preservation for many decades.
