Michael Moore is an American filmmaker, writer, and political activist, widely recognized for his provocative and socially engaged documentaries. Born in 1954 in Flint, Michigan, Moore began his career in journalism and later gained international fame with the documentary Roger & Me (1989), in which he criticizes the devastating impact of the closure of General Motors factories in his hometown.
He established himself as one of the most critical voices of the United States' political and economic system, addressing themes such as gun violence in Bowling for Columbine (2002), the Iraq War in Fahrenheit 9/11 (2004), and the American healthcare system in Sicko (2007). In addition to winning an Oscar and the Palme d'Or, Moore is known for his ironic style, incisive investigations, and for bringing controversial issues to public debate. Michael Moore isn't the type to give autographs; this copy is unique.
